Sunday, about a half dozen neighborhood enthusiasts arrived with rakes, picks, shovels, bars and pruning shears in hand to continue the work on the large traffic circle at the juncture of 17th Ave, 63rd St and Naomi Place in Seattle's northeast section.   Work began last fall with removal of the ivy that had overgrown the small island. Some of the roots were removed then but much work remained.
